Here are some observations on What Kind of Blogger Are You. You are maybe one of those, it’s funny because most of these types of blogger can relate to my blogging habits.

I-Just-Wiped-My-Butt Blogger You like Twitter, Pownce and any other service that let’s people know every boring and pathetic moment of your life. Oh, and you attract voyeurs who are more boring and pathetic than yourself.

Collector Blogger: Similar to the Regurgitating Blogger, you collect everyone else’s ideas, images, tools, links, apps, etc… and then post ridiculously long blog entries that showcase way too much of something people didn’t even know they cared about. Yet, from the sheer volume of information, everyone feels compelled to bookmark it on del.icio.us anyway.

Research Blogger: You have entirely too much time on your hands and you do an insane amount of research on things that people have long forgotten about — and will soon forget about again.

List Blogger: Ever since you got Dugg for that top ten list for the Greatest Barbie Outfits for Full Grown Men, you’ve been dishing out top ten lists everyday on Digg trying to relive your glory. Unfortunately, everybody hates you now and nobody will Digg your stories, not even your mother.

Isn’t-My-Family-Amazing Blogger: You’re so obsessed with your family that you even post blurry, head-cut-off pictures of your darling children. You post so much information about your family, your wife’s identity has been stolen twice. Oh, and your kid is ugly. No, I mean it. That thing is really ugly.

Religious Zealot Blogger: You can’t finish a sentence or paragraph without taking some snippet of scripture out of context. You hope that your daily ramblings of incoherent and illogically placed thoughts will convert new believers, but at the end of the day, not even your pastor knows what you’re talking about.

And for that, I tried on this quiz. This is from the wonderful folks of Blog Action Day. I am a purist, expert, undiscovered blogger.

You’re not in this for the money, for you blogging is all about the passion! Sure you might make a little pocket change now and again, but you know that it’s the content, the audience and the people that are what makes blogging great!

EXPERIENCE: 1 (Newbie/Experienced)

You’ve been blogging since Nick Denton was in diapers. When it comes to blogging experience, you are the authority on blogging. Heck you probably even have a blog where you give advice about blogging!

SOCIABILITY: 0 (Hermit/Social)

Social media, other bloggers, networks and all that jazz don’t really interest you. You have enough friends in the real world, you don’t need more. You blog because you want to express yourself not to meet bloggers!

Actually, Awareness is Bliss. The idea of this post is one of the many ways Blog Action Day is engaging bloggers into their October 15 campaign. “What would happen if every blog published posts discussing the same issue, on the same day?
One issue. One day.”

On October 15th, bloggers around the web will unite to put a single important issue on everyone’s mind - the environment. Every blogger will post about the environment in their own way and relating to their own topic. Blog Action Day’s aim is to get everyone talking towards a better future.

I know this is too late but try it anyway. Here are 3 ways to participate:

  • Post on your blog relating to the environment on Blog Action Day
  • Donate your day’s earnings to an environmental charity
  • Promote Blog Action Day around the web

      Kenks, my kinda guilty pleasure. OO naman I am a PINOY movie fan. My favourite actors are mostly FAMAS awardees, hehehe. Don’t laugh but my favourite actress celebrity is Kris Aquino, irritating but there’s something in her na I just laugh. GAME KA NA BA?

      I took the test, I’m a purist, expert, socialite blogger; really surprised me on the socialite part because I don’t submit anything to digg, but may be it’s because I write for other blogs as well.
      If I’ve to describe my blog, I’m somewhat of a collector blogger because I translate ghost story and odd stuff, but the description of what a collector blogger is, it’s such a turn off, almost as if I couldn’t think for myself, sounds a bit stupid I think. :(

      I can’t really say what kind of blogger I am :D I have 3 different blogs The Goddess In You, Norwich Daily Photo and Your Love Coach. The daily photo is mainly to give piece an opportunity to get to know the city where I live. The Goddess website is for women’s issues and the Love website is for all the romantics out there - giving them pieces of advice they may or may not be able to use in the quest for love :D I cannot blog every second of the day because I do have a day job, and then some.

      Wow, interesting! I haven’t taken the test yet though I’ll do it later. I’m eager to do this. Plus that screenshot looks very hawt. I wish PCs had the same anti-aliasing as Macs. :( If there was a Firefox plugin that did that, I would be jumping over the moon.

      Wendy, it’s a nifty image Grabber apps for Mac but Windows has its similar version, you may want to look and try this software which help you capture part of your screen (forget F12 keys for prntscreen) and I think it’s a free program. Look for more here.

      Hahaha! Took the test and I’m a Purist, Expert, Undiscovered blogger as well. No surprises there.
      I’m so I, me, mine on my blog that I think I would have been an I-Just-Wiped-My-Butt Blogger if I had the time and energy for twittering (which I don’t, thankfully) so at present, I’m just an I-Wiped-My-Butt-2-Weeks-Ago-But-Just-Blogged-About-It-Now kind of blogger. ;p

      i really don’t know what type of blogger i am. unpredictable blogger, perhaps because i blog anything that strike my fancy, not the readers.
