Hay naku, on and off kaya ang weather forecast, today is sunny, the next day a thunderstorm. What’s going on na kaya with this beautiful world? When the raining gets tough, the lesser I become so focused on putting substance in my blog. Nax! Who said you can talk to the rain and make a poem out of it? Aber? Ahh meron pala, it can make me think of the songs to feel even more depressed. It helped add no energy to myself either, you know the Pinoy in me. So sorry na lang for my other non-filipino blog friends, my Universal blog is turning into a tag-lish blah blah. The fewer the audience, the easier for me to express more a little bit of being fairly superficial.
Am I missing out on something cool? I didn’t even made a controversial topic in most of my previous posts. I scared anyone of you on my Mac Mirror effect photos, didn’t I? Sure it did. But you people are probably too busy with other things that you didn’t even told me I looked really really scary (in a polite way, ang galing nga nung transformation, eh?) talaga, hahaha. And of course I was left alone in my own mood swings. Isn’t it scary being alone? You thought you have all the power to do with a remote control. Hindi rin pala.
But sadly, my life is so kawawa at times when I really needed someone na wala dito – hell yeah, someone to cook for me. I made an attempt to cook something really delicious, a shrimp sinigang kanina, syempre I went to the wet market to buy all the panghalo. It turned out, lasang asin dahil I forgot that knorr mix cubes para mas Makulay Ang Buhay Sa Sinabawang Gulay. Mali pala yung pagkaluto ko. Huy, at least I tried, anoh?
Seriously, I’m quite harrassed on the fact that I almost blog every single day. Diba parang you’re rushing a deadline without expecting a paycheck in return? So what a single human-being like me needed to do anyway? I didn’t realized my 2 weeks holiday – yeah you heard me right? – is now officially over. My company cleared all my remaining vacation leave impromptu and what can I say, I had no choice but to be a blogridden for days, even for weeks. I had a bad hung-over. I mean, imagine lounging in my flat staring blankly in my monitor thinking what to blog and whatnot. I have other means of enjoyment tho’ I am not sharing, but frankly wala naman masyado.
Grabe, if ever pala I decided to leave for Manila last week pa, what’s worst umuulan din parati sa atin. Magugunaw na ang mundo. Besides wala naman akong milyones like the Corporate people so why bother to make gastos sa pamasahe. Whatelse, those travel nightmares diba?. I was disappointed at the same time dahil my accumulated days for my next vacation was prematurely given to me. Sana binigay nila nung umuwi ako eh di hamak na mas makulay yung bakasyon? Panis sila, sobra.
My life seemed doomed (no animals included) to an eternity of staying indoor for weeks. Methinks, at least it breaks the record of my spending sana on the “single most expensive item” here in this shopping paradise, sales period excluded. Fall is here, the Zara shop is spreading like a disease to humankind, those ternos of polo shirt and cardigan sweaters are to.buy.for this Fall/Winter season. My hope was to get a lot of things done in the house, but none of them are un-going. Well, kinda’.
Now.
The super kidlats are a cursed. If you look outside, it actually changed the gentle illumination of the buildings into a sudden white blaze. How cruel is that? I really won’t mind a hot, dry weather. Fact is, I never believed that a rain could have an effect on me, like cold weather, sure I did suffer on winter months and all I wanted to do was sleep. I guess as a whole, I like the four seasons, but I would like a shorter winter and a much longer spring, with drier and sunnier summers and falls. I can’t wait for the winter, not that it’s snowing here, but it’s the time to enjoy myself in a nice fashion way. Jackets & medicated lip gloss included.
So kahit umuulan sa labas, sobrang super init naman sa loob ng bahay. So obviously, I turn on my AC 24/7 vs 7/24 a day. Bubulagain ka na lang bigla when you see the bills. Sobrang mahal ang singil ng Meralco (the largest distributor of Electricity in the Philippines) version dito. You can’t even have the paawa-look para di ka putulan ng kuryente. Although meron naman akong deposit for the electric consumption, eh if lumampas na dun, patay me, diba?
I’m still thinking big for the next couple of weeks albeit lack of funds for my grocery foods, well it’s like ‘money comes, money goes’ pero libre naman ang meal sa work so makakatipid ako in a sense, para may bagong atmosphere na naman akong makikita. The usual, my working desk and a few lot of post-it yellow papers waiting for me. Even my student trainee kept bugging me a few days ago. She probably miss my ka-kulitan sa trabaho at pagpapatawa ko so kahit papano, somebody laughs at my corniest jokes din pala. How babaw anoh?
Dibale, I got a new toy, an aquarium. I have 6 pairs of super-tiny size of orange color (not a goldfish) fishes swimming on a tiny tank – I don’t know what they are but hey, isda pa rin sila – including a water filter. I used to have a bigger tank before kaso, one time I caught my decayed cat Ginger who jumped up and knock the cover, ate them and puked it out. How gross was when he leaves it out on the floor. He adored fish flakes so I was not surprised. Ang mahal kaya ng isda ngayon anoh? And because they are too small, nahihiya silang magpakuha sa digital cam. Pacencia.
So anyway, I am now clean, I poo’d perfectly today – thanks for the fresh milk, and my blood is certified running and oxygen-rich and all seemed pretty much well. I’m ready getting back to the real world, that is work – para may pera.
Now I’m craving for more quiet nights.

Looks like the wrongly cooked sinigang got a strong effect on this blog entry hehehe. whenever i cook sinigang, especially seafoods, i usually end up stacking them altogether, pour water, salt and the magic bullion cube, then boil.
it has been rainy here, k. as in sobrang bagyo. floods everywhere but people still have to work. haaay. i miss my student days where i can just not go to school.
Dimaks, totoo I never really cooked but now it forced me to make a visit into my tiny kitchen and put them to good use. Even if it’s easy to just by my food via “delivery order” (which I still do), kailangan din palang maging boyscout like the old days, yung nag ca-camping. The one I really want to learn is how to cook monggo. Sarap nun na may tinapa at baboy. Ibabad ba muna ang monggo?
Oist Bridget in my province it is not always nice to say “May bagyo, walang pasok”. For us it’s a big preparation dahil kapag may bagyo, nakakatakot kahit sanay na kami. I heard from my sister, she’s trapped sa Manila at di makauwi uwi sa lakas daw ng bagyo (o ulan?).
strange world nga! we got bet 16 to 20°C here.Ano kaya yun summer pa ah! haay
life is pain but great! labo ko ata hehe
K, this entry very much sounds like how we Singaporeans mix Malay with Enlish when we speak. Now, that’s what we call Rojak. Hah, google the word and you’ll find out. tsk. Have a great week ahead K.
PS: Makes me wanna learn Tagalog now. Heh.
Cheh, ok lang umaalisawsaw ang katawan with dripping sourish smell kesa naman from dripping rain. I am not a fan of rainy season kaya totoo nga ang kantang “rainy days and —day always get me down”.
Asha, hahaha I know that, SING-LISH? or a mix of Malaysian Singaporean and Indonesian food? A multi ethnic character. And of course, if you are a Singaporean, singlish is very much a recognizable pattern of your pronounciation like the oversused word added in the end, “lah”.
K, for a starter, you did good in cooking. don’t expect perfection, right away. we all make mistakes. sa susunod na pagluto mo perfect na iyan.
so you were forced to take an early leave? not fair huh? the weather probably had something to do with it. kaya pala ang dami mo ng bagong entries, tuloy am finding it hard to catch up.
Magaling lang akong kumain. Pero honestly, I know naman how to cook – wala lang effort masyado to really cook. I mean for a single person, what’s the point of cooking? I have no recipes and I don’t follow the teaspoons & salts. It’s not that I don’t like to cook. It’s just when someone says cook, you have an image of all these ingredients, time, and ugh, cleanup. Hahaha.
