Finally the weather is clear. The heavens told me to get up early to smile and see the beauty of the sky para mag-remit ng kaunti, mga milyones of pesos lang naman to my family. Milyones daw, wag nyo akong titigan. It always remind me of the old cliche’, “save for the rainy days”. Simple, a straightforward savings for any purpose. Kailangan tumulong eh? Buti na lang it rained for weeks so kung hindi wala akong na-saved for remittance. Eventhough kunti lang, pwede na ring pang grocery ni Kathleen.
Then I walked and walked – across the zebra lines, footbridge, escalators and just couldn’t resist to take some photos of the beautiful skyscrapers from my Samsung – just to add clustery goodness into my flickr. I love cellphones, that’s why I love camphones. Now that the cameraphones are quite obviously everywhere, I’m banding it as my little ‘digital camera more than a mobile’.

You think para akong tanga sa kalsada na nawawala looking for my hotel. Hahaha, nakigaya rin ako dun sa dalawang Japanese asking directions how to get to The Peak station. Muntik na naman sana me to make window-shopping but syempre I make pigil kunyari kasi I promised not to spend using my plastic. Uyy, nag-yabang.
Saan pa, ang ending eh di sa Jollibee. Muntik ko pa ngang batukan si Manang dahil magnanakaw siya ng linya. The woman before me have this gigil-look sa sobrang inis. Tawa ko lang kung mag-away sila. Aba, nag mamadaling um-order ng Palabok, gutom na gutom ata? She was not the only person starving eh ako namumutla na sa gutom aber? The problem with Jollibee, sobra silang bagal to take orders. Wala ba ‘tong service standard? The lines was growing so fast like mushrooms. Since I am a good citizen, patulan ba ang matanda? Sabi ko pa nga, “don’t forget your change po, kung hindi kukunin ko yan”. Aba, pwede ng pamasahe yun pauwi anoh?
Tanong pa sa akin, “are you Pinoy ba”? So joke ko naman, “hindi po Lola, Hapon ho ako”. HAPON na para kumain ako ng almusal ko.
