A Dialogue With K

The Apple spell

Thumb-touching

Come on. You know you want to. That iSight just begs to take your snapshot. Open Photo Booth and have a little fun. Add a special image effect — Sepia, Black & White, Glow, Comic Book, X-Ray, Colored Pencil, Thermal Camera, Spotlight, Bulge, Dent, Twirl, Squeeze, Mirror, Light Tunnel, Stretch, Fish Eye. Click. See the screen flash white. (Your MacBook is just that clever.) And there you have it — a high-quality photo you can save as your iChat buddy picture, email to your friends, or put in your iPhoto library. - MacBook iSight

Photo Booth is probably what many of the people around here who visit Apple shops end up when trying out Macs. There are many cool effects that everyone loves. It’s the sort of program that kids (that includes me) would probably have fun with for a day or two. Doesn’t do anything really serious of course, other than it let you make a quirky and sometimes funny snapshots of yourself, but when it comes down to it, it’s just a little program that Apple gave in to better advertise built-in iSight .

So, to kill my boredom, the pointless thing to do is to play around a bit with my Photo Booth. I think I look a little off in these shots. I enjoy using the Mirror image which is aligned correctly to make it appear normal. Notice the moles, it looks so parallel.

I just can’t simply get enough of it, maybe it’s the Apple “spell”?

The weather sucks, been raining nonstop for weeks. How can I wear my new linens? How many times did I ever defrost my chicken wings? I had enough of noodles. I don’t mean to be pretentious but I am sick and tired of these rain. Dazed, when is this gonna stop? Prayers for those who need rain.

Like I said, I enjoyed a little bit of it. Apparently, I need a shave.

On The News: Yes dear folks, my Music Box has already reached its monthly quota, so listening pleasure is now ‘out of order’. Another alternative to listen or (download) your favourite music is iLike in which by the way one of the coolest feature for iTunes. This widget also works for MySpace or Facebook accounts (Thank God, I don’t have these or else I’d be addicted). My playlist will be back and running shortly, maybe next month (Huwat, that long?) but for the meantime, enjoy my Sonific player, I have added some songs for you to listen. Ya’ll hear?

I didn’t recognise you either. One thing on the Macs that are really fun is Garageband. The best fun there.
