Hello, is it me you’re looking for?

Tag fever indeed-dey, my third installment. Well, Cheh of Knee-Dah-Lens Dee-Yaz-Len told me to do these difficult slash hard slash confusing slash complicated me-me. It took me ages to understand the simple instructions, so I end up creating a low quality picture (somehow, intentional) of my Face Behind This Blog. I guess many of you have been flickring my likeness on my flickr account so picture this, a blog with a self-portrait of the author (no pun included there) means, you enhance your credibility by the simple fact that you’re not trying to hide. It connects to the virtual and physical worlds. I mean, I don’t mind putting pictures of myself here and there. Remember that people who’ve met you before will recognize your photo, and people who’ve read your site will recognize you when you meet in person. Don’t you know a huge percentage of the human brain is dedicated to remembering and recognizing faces? As for me, faces works better than remembering names. Ok, I am not arguing here, it’s your choice. I respect those who prefer to remained to be anonymous. It’s only a simple matter of trust.
This is going to be long (arrghhh, this entry will definately screw up my theme). I’m giving you infos about what I love, hate and wants - an abundance of complete and utter crap about my life. This was from my 100 Things that you never really needed to know, but I had to shortened it.
One a.m. onwards is pretty much the time I feel about myself. I’d like to stay late online until around six a.m., that is if I am not working the next day. I never have a car, hence I hate being controlled by machines. I am bad with money, so I don’t save. I seem to be unable to pay my bills on time and I don’t know how to balance my checkbook. I was raised Roman Catholic but still doesn’t remember how to pray the rosary (bless me, Oh Lord!). I love singing as much as I love dancing. I am a wannabe writer,I love to write with a dictionary to correct my grammar & espleing. See, I just did. I admire British accents. I use and practice them a lot. I wish I was an English. I’m small, 5′4″. But my heart is bigger than my head. Awesome, huh? I hate those moles in my face, people recognized me easily. Some says, it’s bad luck but I believe in destiny, my mother says it’s cute. There are days when I don’t believe I will get better. I hate politics and politicians. The world is already too complicated. It took me a year before I finally get my residency in Hong Kong and I regreted to work and stay here. So why am I still here? Ok, I’ll ask myself about it, later. I imagine myself the most popular star in a comedy sitcom. I have what is commonly known as ‘temper’. I easily connect with older people. For me, they are the good example in the society (sorry for my younger audience). I graduated in Nursing eventhough I’m scared with diabetic patients. I always take pictures of myself but never likes to share them to anyone. It would appear that I’ll be the only person that appreciates it. So here I am sharing my moles to the world because it appears that I am the cutest person you have ever seen. My ass makes me smile every morning because I’m butt-ugly. I wish I studied in Manila so I would never feel out of place in my batch. That writing these lists makes me wanna puke. Yet, I’m so grateful that He gave me this life that I am now having.
Update: More photos of me, of course.
Ok let’s do the drill:
1st step- Post a short blog article that includes a photograph (or a series of photos) showing the face behind your blog. If you already show a photo somewhere on your site (such as in your about page), then make your post more interesting and choose a photo that’s not currently online.
2nd step - Include links to other people that have displayed a photo, or include their photos in your post, adding a reference. A link back to this post is much appreciated, to help create a more personal community!
3rd step - Tag as many others as you like in your post to spread the meme.
4th step- If you link back to me here, send David an email. He’ll add you to the list. This isn’t absolutely necessary but it does help one to keep track of the collection. Each person tagged should create their own post and repeat the process.
Oh man, I am not gonna do that. If you want to see who’s in, you may proceed to David Airey for the complete list. I am not sure if this is the best idea. But no way I am going to cut and paste all the links here (forget trackbacks and pings), it’s as if making me feel I’d taken a dose of Fukidol tablets. Apologies.
Addendum: I think it’s not fair if I don’t put all the links of those who participated. I gave it another try. What I did? I went back to David’s site, highlightened those list of names/blogs and peek-a-boo on the source code (thanks Safari). It took me five minutes. Aba, nadagdagan na naman ang knowledge ko?. So below are the links who joined the trend so far:

So ta-ta. Just send me a note if you want your link to my list.

re: links, this all up to you if you want to update your entry.Me,am updating it whenever I see one participating, just want to keep track of bloggers participating the project.
Thanks again K dear! muaah
Meeya, I agree. I think I’m cute and I say that everyday (almost everytime) I watch myself in the mirror, hahahaha.
Cheh, bakit kasi nauso ang tagging? Aliw naman pala to join this meme. Since I don’t rely mostly on technoratis, the trackbacks are the one’s keeping me up-to-date. I probably do follow your groove, linkage galore!
Good exercise. Now, now, I’m just not so sure if I want to do it, and I’m sure you know why. Lemme think about it. What do you think K?

Good of you to join in, K.
I’ve added to to the original list on my site.
Hanne, trust me, it was fun! Errr, at the beginning it seemed confusing (the link part I guess). Like what Cheh said, it’s optional, as long as you participated, you can omit the “link” lists. Bilisan mo!
David, you’re welcome and thank you for the add up. I hope to see more participating.
Don’t you just feel naked after writing a post like this? I don’t think I can post much about myself, especially for the world to know, it’ll bore them to death, and certainly don’t want to do that yet Lol. I also hate politics and politicians, but I never want to be a writer.
Oh Ginger, how did you know I was ‘nekid’? I took that photo while pretending to go for a nap. I was on my “no more delay” underwear, I took a snap of me thru a mirror but I refused to put them on print. It’s a rated PG so everything was covered. hahaha.
Well, give yourself a time -some people are comfortable without a self-photo in their blogs. Your readers would simply understand it. No worries.
Hello K! Now I’m glad to see the face behind this blog! I think your moles make you, YOU..unique, good looking too
I’ll add you to my list…btw, may I ask a favor? please place my link (it’s on your list now..the ‘www.thesserie.com’ should be http://dagboek.thesserie.com
thank you in advance!
regards,
thess
[...] K of Knoizki [...]
Thanks Thess. I holler you up on my blogroll. I am confused between Netherelands and Dutchland, when I say Cheh is from Germany, she lives in Dutchland while you in Netherlands, that means Holland?
Ang labo ata?
I wanted to post the links of those who have participated but the problem is my entire post would be a mile long which I tend not to do. And besides I am always the person who makes new twists to some memes.
Well I actually think you are cute as well K!
lol K! ‘Deutschland’ (Not Dutchland hehe) is the german word for Germany.’Nederland’ naman is the dutch word for dutchland/Holland
People from Deutschland speaks ‘deutsch’ ( german )
People from holland/Netherland speaks ‘holländisch or Niederländisch” (dutch)
Magkatunog kasi Deutsch at Dutch kaya nakakalito lol
Charles, I did that too because the list is way too long to add in a post, but I added it anyway, it kills the boredom.
Cheh, thanks for pointing that out. To me it sounds the same - I don’t live there so it won’t matter. But as I read the many places in EUROPE , iba-iba nga pala talaga. Some foreigners would ask the same thing to Asians, people would usually ask if I’m from Thailand or Indonesia or Malaysian. I really don’t mind because honestly, Asian looks all similar. And you cannot even guess a person if she is a Chinese, a Japanese or a Korean - to me they have all the similarities there. As for the Whites, English or Caucasians, I sometimes think they are all the same too unless when they talk, now you can tell the difference. Syempre if you are a Filipino mixed, they will call you MESTIZA/MESTIZO (sarap sa tenga).
Hi K!
Nice of you to join the meme. Thanks for putting me up in the links you decided to put in your blog. Btw, I didn’t put up the list, just linked with the two friends who tagged me.
It was wonderful “knowing” you though it is my first time to go to your blog. There is a WP Filipino Bloggers group?
Have a great week!
You’re welcome Julie, when there’s a new link (can you tell me when this gonna end.. hahaha, it’s fun tho’
showing at David’s, I would just manually add it up.
