Can somebody tell me how to?

You know I always have the hardest time getting up out of my couch (yes, I sleep in my couch) in the morning or when I sometimes think I have to do other errand if it’s my day off the next day. No matter how stressful my life seemed the night before, I always told myself, “You gotta be out in the flat by ten. Otherwise there’s no way you’ll get all your things done. You have to have to have to have to haveeee to”.
And when I wake up I contanstly feel like I have all the time in the world to get things done. I cuddle up under the covers, peek-a-boo as I watch the minutes tick by on my tiny blue IKEA clock on my desk.
Then eventually, as I wake up, I would take a shower and then deliberate for a while on what to wear. Until few minutes later, it’s only when I finally get out of the house and start walking to work and by then I’m already at my table, I started to feel like going home and sleep again.
Does anyone else have trouble leaving the couch or bed haven? How do YOU get yourself out of the house if you are planning to do something. Usually I end up feeling like I have been strucked by a rapid plague I once called, potato-itis.
So today I learned: procrastinate |prəˈkrastəˌnāt; prō-| verb [ intrans. ] delay or postpone action; put off doing something : it won’t be this price for long, so don’t procrastinate.

I don´t my boyfrien does. Ok I do but only if I have to go to work, je, je.
don’t worry, that is just temporary (but who would not like to linger in bed in the morning)…you need a break perhaps?
inthesity, you never ceases to make me laugh then so I guess everybody does the same, huh? I don’t know why when you say “work”, it’s as if you’re pulling me off to the loo. Boy do I hate-to-love-to-hate working.
Sexymom, btw, I hope it’s ok to add your link, I remembered you came here once or twice from Gigi’s blog I think and forgotten to add you right away. I learned you have 7 kids and that almost equal with my family. And yeah, it’s not that I need a break from all of these, I’m just a lazy bum.
I do.. like all the time. Oh, and because of that, I put my alarm clock a metre away so that I have to get up (no matter what/how) and stop that bloody ringing.
Asha, putting away your clock a metre away does help? I also use my cellphone to alarm the second ‘wake-up call’ and one time during my early shifts, it almost made me throw away.
i get that too, to a lesser degree. my wake-up routine is: wake up, brush teeth, bathe, turn computer on to go on the net for about an hour or so, change clothes, go to college. except instead of lazing around, i get so caught up with my internet activities that i’m always in the car later than i planned to. i won’t be late, though, because i hate it when i’m late, so i can’t…
It´s great if I make you laugh, either if it´s caused by the silly things I write-you know I have a very simple minde- or my terrible english-probably I say things that I don´t want to…
Pretty much why I post like everyday. Eventhough I’m all set to go and by the time I open my door on my way out, I’d go back and turn on my laptop instead. Thanks for the visit, sulz.
inthesity, no worries, I have no problem with people speaking NO straight english than people speaking too many “deep” english. Your english is fine, I won’t be laughing here if I didn’t understand it. What I mean is that, writing simple and easy to understand words is how a blog should be, in my opinion. Question is, does your blog-writing really speaks the way you talk in person? Honestly I can’t write (like the journalists do) and I don’t know how to be humble but I thought I sucked big time. Well practice makes it perfect, so I try to read other non-personal blog and see if I could absorb words from it.
I just force myself out of bed, just thinking of the worst scenario that could happen if I didn’t go and do it.
I need someone to nag me for this Weng. Would you do that for me?
i only get to sleep in on a Sunday because it is my day off. it actually feels good and then when i get up, i sit right away in front of my computer checking emails and my blog. so, it is perfectly alright to bum around once in a while.
In the same way, that’s WHAT I do to procrastinate, if I have a skill-day to read blogs all day, I can do it.
